A piece created by Clinton
Berry has been accepted into the 15th
Annual Strictly Functional Clay National. The piece is a
soda-fired porcelain covered jar with brushwork. The show is
in Lancaster, PA, April 21-May 20, with the opening reception
and a gallery talk by juror Malcolm Davis on on April 21.
Sharon Aach recently participated in a show in
New York, “Patterns
in Clay” at the Jenny Tengleson Gallery in Long Island.
Two pieces were accepted and both were selected for honors.
Joan Powell has been invited to participate in
an
exhibition at the Main Street Gallery, 237 Main
Street, Edwardsville, IL, May 5- June 3rd. Kitty
Mollman and John Celuch will also be exhibiting.
Opening reception is Friday, May 5, 6-8:30 p.m.
The "Spring Art Walk" in
downtown St. Charles, MO, April 28-30 has juried in Joan
Powell among its 50 artists.
She will be
exhibiting inside a Jewelry Design Studio on 122 Main
Street.

been accepted into the 14th
Annual Strictly Functional Pottery National, Tom Coleman, Juror,
April 22- May 21 at Market House Craft Center, Lancaster, PA.
The 2006 Orton Cone Box Show includes works by Dganit
(DD) Moreno and Clinton Berry. Steven
Hill and Inge Balch jurored this show, which opened at NCECA
on March 1 and will tour for two
years.
Richard Gerald has been commissioned to make
100 sake cups for Opera
Omaha's production
of "Madama
Butterfly." The set, costumes, and sake cup design are by
Jun Kaneko.
Works by Joy Lappin and Judy
Papian are featured in "500 Cups" a
book published by Lark
Books.
DD Moreno and Clinton Berry both
had entries accepted into the
2004 International Orton Cone Box Show. DD's work
received one of the show's highest honors, the Purchase
Award.
Pat Singley earned an Honorable Mention
at Big Fish Little Pots 2005, an international show just
held in California.
